I want to be a CareSource member or am interested in general information about CareSource

If you are eligible for Ohio Medicaid, you and/or members of your family may receive health care benefits through either the Covered Families and Children (CFC) program (including Healthy Start and Healthy Families) or the Aged, Blind, or Disabled (ABD) program.

• CFC Medicaid consumers include families, children up to age 19, and pregnant women. 
• ABD Medicaid consumers include adults age 65 and older and Ohioans who are blind or disabled at any age.
• People eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare Part A and Part B can sign up for CareSource Advantage. The plan also has Medicare prescription drug coverage and many more benefits.

On our website, you will see some information marked either for CFC or ABD.  Some information may be different, depending on which Ohio Medicaid program you receive.  If you have any questions, or you are not sure if you are a CFC or ABD member, please call CareSource at 1-800-488-0134 (TTY for the hearing impared: 1-800-750-0750) and we will be happy to help you.

You may also be eligible for CareSource Advantage, our new Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan for those eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare.  For more information about CareSource Advantage, either visit the website, or call 1-800-708-8729 to talk to someone who can tell you more about our plan.

CareSource administers the Ohio Children’s Buy-In Program.  This state-funded health care program is for certain uninsured children in families with income over 300 percent of the federal poverty level.
