CareSourcee Management Group administers Community Choice Michigan

, CareSource Management Group took over operational responsibilities for Community Choice Michigan and is working as a Deputy Rehabilitator with the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services to bring CCM out of rehabilitation status.
CCM expects this arrangement, which includes the implementation of a new pharmacy benefit management program, to result in significantly lower administrative costs. CCM will also see additional revenues from the Medicaid Quality Assessment Program which will provide statewide funding increases to Michigan Medicaid managed health care plans.
"These initiatives will improve our ability to meet financial requirements in accordance with regulatory guidelines," said Karl Kovacs, Community Choice Michigan CEO. "We are confident in the services, efficiencies and infrastructure that CareSource Management Group can provide."
Community Choice Michigan is a nonprofit Medicaid managed health care plan serving approximately 60,000 Michigan residents. CareSource Management Group is a health care management services company based in Dayton, Ohio.
