About Us
CareSource Management Group provides a full spectrum of services for the administration of public-sector health care, serving more than 649,000 Medicaid consumers in Ohio and Michigan. The company was founded on the success of CareSource, Ohio’s largest Medicaid managed care plan. In 1989, CareSource pioneered the state’s first Medicaid managed care program in the Dayton, Ohio area. The company has experienced significant growth in the nearly 20 years that we have operated and is now the fourth largest Medicaid managed care company in the nation.
In 2006, the CareSource family of companies created the CareSource Foundation which focuses on furthering our mission through long-term innovative solutions that support a holistic approach to addressing the health care needs of the underserved. The CareSource Foundation provides grants for issues of the uninsured, critical health trends, community health issues and collaborative health care efforts.
