CareSource launches new website
DAYTON
, Ohio, Dec. 21, 2005 – CareSource, Ohio’s largest Medicaid managed care plan, is pleased to announce the launch of its new website at www.caresource-ohio.com.
This easy-to-navigate website directs users to accurate and timely information about CareSource and the services it offers to health plan members and providers in Ohio.
CareSource members can learn about covered services, extra benefits, working with a primary care physician, where to go for care, and rights and responsibilities. They can also download materials such as a member handbook and provider directory, and find contact information for a variety of social service agencies across the state.
Health care providers can find information about how to join, provider services and credentialing; member services, extra benefits, and role of the primary care physician; and how to make a referral, request prior authorization, or submit a claim. The website also offers a password-protected section where CareSource providers can check member eligibility, access member lists, and check status of a claim.
CareSource’s new website also features company information, a Media Room for journalists and Career Center for job seekers.
“We are pleased to launch this new website for members, providers and others interested in CareSource,” said President and CEO Pamela B. Morris. “Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of underserved people by improving their health care. We think this new website will be an extremely useful tool in helping us do just that.”
