Performance Highlights
Performance can be measured in a number of ways. At CareSource, we use a variety of independent performance evaluations as a compass to guide us toward continual improvement.
These are just a few of the indicators that illustrate our commitment to the highest performance goals and quality standards.
- CareSource has been rated excellent in the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services performance evaluation system for Medicaid managed care plans. CareSource is judged on clinical performance, consumer access to primary care, administrative capacity and a host of other measures.
- CareSource has earned health plan accreditation from URAC, a Washington D.C.-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. URAC has granted health plan accreditation to CareSource as well as health call center accreditation to CareSource's 24-hour nurse hotline.
